This is the story about two children finding friendship within a divided community where color and the search for freedom dictated in Miami in the 1960’s
Angie is a 11-year-old girl from a segregated community with the big dream to be singer. She lives in Liberty Square, one of the first public-housing projects middle-class black families in the United States.
Robertico is a 11-year-old boy Cuban refugee who is waiting to be reunited with his mother after months of separation due to the exile with the Operation Pedro Pan.
Together they will bring the lesson of unity against poverty and segregation with an unforgettable friendship.
