LUISA IBANEZ SUAREZ

Executive Producer

Luisa is a highly experienced and accomplished Film and TV Producer with over 30 years of expertise in the US and LATAM media industry. She has worked for prestigious international networks in both English and Spanish, accumulating an impressive portfolio of more than 1000 hours of content produced in various formats for diverse audiences. Her work has garnered three International Emmy nominations for projects that premiered on the US primetime: "Al otro lado del Muro," "Jenni, Mariposa de barrio," and "Pasion Prohibida."

Currently based in Miami, Luisa is working passionately to foster new talent and promote diverse voices in the creative process. She specializes in packaging bilingual stories and seeks financing opportunities, as well as securing pre-sales for these compelling projects at prestigious international markets such as MIPCOM, NATPE, EFM, AFM, and CANNES.

In addition to her professional achievements, Luisa serves as a Faculty member of the New York Film Academy - South Beach, where she inspires emerging storytellers to develop their narratives with a global perspective to captivate audiences worldwide. Her commitment to promoting multilingual experiences has led to the realization of incredible and culturally enriching projects.

Originally from Peru, Luisa pursued her academic journey with studies in Communication at the University of Lima, followed by filmmaking and TV production at the Universidad Católica del Perú. She further enhanced her skillset by earning certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the graduated school ESAN.

Luisa takes great pride in her professional affiliations and is a member of several esteemed organizations, including The Producer's Guild of America, Academy of Television Arts & Sciences - ATAS, FILM FLORIDA, WAWA (Worldwide Audiovisual Women's Association), IFP, ARRAY CREW, BGDM, and WOMEN ON SET. Through her active participation in these groups, she contributes to the advancement of the industry and the empowerment of women in the audiovisual field.
